Solutions at Work serves thousands of people living in poverty annually. Our programs provide the following resources because countless local homeless people have told us time and again that these are precisely things they need to get their lives back on track.
The homeless and low-income parents who participate in our Children’s Clothing Exchange trade their children’s outgrown items for age-appropriate clothing, books, and toys.
Our popular SolutionsWear program provides interview-appropriate clothing and accessories to men and women who are enrolled in area job-training programs.
A Gift of Self-Sufficiency and Sustainability
Solutions At Work offers the opportunity to sponsor a visit to Solutions Wear for a low-income community member who is starting in a new job or career. The visiting participant will receive style advice and encouragement along with 5 'first-week' outfits. The cost of this service is $25.00. One may also sponsor or gift a Children's Clothing Exchange membership for a family to receive and donate children's clothing for a year. Each annual membership gives the mother 20 items of children's clothing per month plus additional seasonal wear, books, childcare equipment, and toys. The cost of this service is $50.00 per year.
